Unlocking efficient perovskite-based light emitting devices

Abstract

We explore the use of metal halide perovskites for light emitting diode (LED) applications. Through improvements in film formation that yield rms roughness <1 nm, we demonstrate green and red perovskite LEDs with external quantum efficiencies >9%.
