Ultra high sensitivity detection of NO photo-fragments by radar REMPI

Abstract

A new standoff diagnostic technique, Radar REMPI, is used to measure trace concentrations of NO for the detection of explosive material vapors by photo-fragmentation. Avalanche enhancement can increase the signal by orders of magnitude.
