Abstract

Turbulent boundary-layer flow over two arbitrary bodies of revolution was investigated by comparison with the flow over a two-dimensional wing-like body. This paper describes an experiment which attempts to determine the effects of divergence, longitudinal curvature and pressure gradients on the flow over a body of revolution.
