Abstract
A robust marketplace for automated collision avoidance technology is certain to motivate the technology companies to develop better and cheaper technologies. This dynamic will undoubtedly lead to the development of complete automated vehicle technologies. It will be up to the coming generation transportation engineers to ensure that the advantages of this ground-breaking technology are fully captured to fundamentally improve everyone’s quality of life.
