Transmission performance evaluation of 43Gb/s RZ-DPSK transponder using electrical equalizer

Abstract

We have experimentally confirmed that 43Gb/s RZ-DPSK transponder using electrical equalizer could provide good transmission performances for various applications. By optimizing the equalizer setting, it suppressed the main degradation factor effect in each system application.
