Abstract

Magnetic turbulence (<400 kHz) has been measured both internal and external to a tokamak plasma as the edge q is varied from 0.6 to 3. The radial and poloidal spatial dependences of the coherence are investigated. The spatial and frequency dependences of the fluctuations are similar over the wide range of q.
