Time-resolved study of polyimide film absorbing layers for laser-induced forward transfer

Abstract

In this work, we use time-resolved imaging to study the laser-induced formation of a sealed blister on a thin polyimide film absorbing layer which is used to mechanically eject donor material during laser-induced forward transfer.
