Abstract
Ultrafast pump-probe measurements are performed in order to time-resolve the energy transfer in conjugated polymer blends. By blending, the emissive properties are improved substantially, the absorption of the blend resembles the absorption of the host polymer, while the photoluminescence resembles the emission from the guest, indicating complete energy transfer. The time-resolved Forster transfer data show both the time scale on which the transfer takes place and the magnitude of the transfer.
