Abstract
An operating diagram approach to estimating detailed features of one-dimensional pulsing flow is described, and the model predictions are compared with experimental data on cocurrent downflow. A detailed analysis of the local and global bifurcations associated with vertical two-phase flow is presented bringing forth the underlying structure driving the time-dependent flow.
