Abstract

The emissive color of organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) was patterned using dye diffusion onto the polymer thin films of the OLED. A flat plate diffusion source was used to obtain a large-area uniform source. The dye was transferred from the flat plate diffusion source into the organic layer of OLED where the emission color changed accordingly.
