Abstract
The effects laser field noise on controlled quantum dynamics were investigated. The Quantum system selected was a four-level anharmonic ladder. The analysis of the dynamics of population, driven by transform limited pulses, was carried out for two conditions. The conditions were, when the pulse parameters were random variables and when they were stochastic white noise processes. It was observed that white noise amplitude shifts were easily filtered by the dynamics with no observable changes up to very high levels of noise. It was also found that white frequency noise reduced the pulse area and induced spectral broadening, strongly affecting the high frequency components.
