Abstract

Controlled synthesis of near-monodisperse polyethylene and its block copolymers using commercially available monomers and catalyst was carried out. Defect-free polyethylene was incorporated into a block copolymer architecture using ring-opening methathesis polymerization (ROMP), enabling the study of high-crystallinity diblocks.
