Abstract
The interaction integral method is extended to evaluate stress intensity factors and T-stress for mixed-mode crack problems in functionally graded materials. This paper makes use of this conservation integral method in conjunction with the finite element method and discusses the features of the proposed method by comparison with available analytical or semi-analytical solutions.
