Abstract
Statistical mechanical models were applied to study many-particle interactions in condensed matter systems. The formalism described the thermal equilibrium of the systems using the approach of density dependent effective interaction potentials. Virial pressure and isothermal compressibility expressions in terms particle distribution functions were presented.
