Stability of chalcogenide glass solutions for photonic applications

Abstract

The stability of arsenic sulfide solutions towards absorbed moisture is investigated through accelerated aging studies. Water-induced precipitation can be mitigated, producing chalcogenide materials that are unaffected by the lifetime of the solution.
