Research supported by the Harvard Society of Fellows and by the National Science Foundation under Grant No. PHY77-22864. I would like to thank S. Coleman for his generous assistance. Much of the work in sect. 2 was done in collaboration with him. I also wish to thank A. Zamolodchikov for his very helpful comments and suggestions, and to acknowledge discussions with R. Shankar, O. N2 - We show that the two-dimensional (ψψ)2 model is, for N = 3, equivalent to the supersymmetric sine-Gordon equation, and for N = 4, equivalent to two decoupled sine-Gordon systems. In addition, we argue that the kinks of this model are isospinors, and we construct some of the higher conservation laws that are responsible for the exact solubility of this system.
