Solvent-casting of photo-refractive chalcogenide glasses and their application in Quantum Cascade laser tuning

Abstract

We deposited photo-modifiable chalcogenide films through a low-temperature, solventcasting technique. Their thermal and optical properties were characterized and these glasses were applied to Quantum Cascade lasers to realize all-optical room temperature tuning.
