Abstract

The rate of capture of solar neutrinos per 37Cl atom is found to be 0.7 × 10-35 sec-1 and 4.9 × 10-35 sec-1 for two extreme assumptions regarding the measured low-energy nuclear cross sections. The dependence of the 8B solar neutrino flux on the low-energy cross-section factor for 3He(α,γ)7Be, S34 is found to be S340.7.
