Abstract

Self-consistent equilibrium model of low aspect-ratio toroidal plasma with energetic beam ions was studied. The model allowed for an anisotropic distribution function and a large Larmor radius of the beam ions. Self-consistent equilibria with an anisotropic fast ion distribution were calculated.
