Abstract

The electron-neutrino correlation for He6 β decay is analyzed for possible second class effects. Existing data are found to be consistent with there being no second class form factor but the conclusion is somewhat model dependent. The eν correlation for the Ne19 decay is considered and it is shown that an improved measurement, comparable to that achieved for He6, would provide an unambiguous result concerning second class terms. RADIOACTIVITY He6; deduced second class form factor from the eν angular correlation.
