Abstract

An attempt was made to examine tunneling in double layer 2D electron systems in which interlayer correlations are very strong. A dramatic resonant enhancement of the zero bias tunneling conductance was observed when the system crossed the phase boundary from a compressible fluid into the vT = 1 ferromagnetic quantized Hall state.
