Relativistic high harmonics driven by two-color incident fields

Abstract

Particle-in-cell simulations suggest that relativistic high-harmonic generation using overdense plasmas will be substantially enhanced by adding second harmonic to the incident laser field. This mechanism also offers a new diagnostic of the laser-plasma interaction.
