Quantum cascade laser dual-comb spectroscopy for multi-species detection

Abstract

Multi-species detection of analytes in gas-phase by dual-comb spectroscopy using quantum cascade laser frequency combs is demonstrated. These chip-scale, electrically-pumped, semiconductor light sources are highly appealing for portable multi-component chemical spectroscopic sensors.
