Quantum cascade laser-based CO2 isotope sensors for carbon sequestration and environmental monitoring

Abstract

We report a quantum cascade (QC) laser for detecting 12CO2, 13CO2, and 18OCO in carbon sequestration leak and environmental monitoring. The parallel development of a compact and efficient QC laser-based isotopic ratiometer will also be discussed.
