Abstract

Plasma-assisted hydrogen combustion is a promising technique in the development of advanced thermal engines. This chapter presents recent studies and progress in understanding of the mechanism and application of plasma-assisted hydrogen combustion. Firstly, the chemistry and dynamics of plasma-assisted hydrogen combustion are analyzed. Secondly, the applications of plasma-assisted hydrogen combustion in advanced engines are presented. Finally, the summarization and future research on plasma-assisted hydrogen combustion in advanced thermal engines are discussed.
