Abstract

Room temperature photoluminescence in Fe:ZnSe is observed under near-absorptionedge Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) pumping. Both the spectral characteristics (λpeak ~ 4.7 ≈m) and the luminescence lifetime (Daleth{hebrew}~ 0.38 μs) are measured.
