Abstract

Grand canonical Monte Carlo simulation and histogram reweighting techniques were used to study phase transitions in a lattice RPM model where, in addition to the Coulomb and hard-core interactions, some short-range attractive interactions between the ions were added to the model. As such, phase diagrams for different short-range strength were obtained. The simulation results reveal a phase diagram strongly dependent on the SR parameter ε* and the lattice structure.
