Abstract

The results of a performance analysis of robust Wiener filtering are presented. Assuming that signal and noise spectra are contaminated versions of nominal wide-sense Markov spectra, a number of performance indicators are evaluated for a wide range of bandwidth, signal-to-noise-ratio, and contamination parameters. These results are examined for insight into the problem of determining in which situations the use of robust filters is advantageous.
