Abstract

Blaise Pascal (1623-1662) was an important French mathematician, natural philosopher, and religious thinker. His Pensées (1670), the posthumously published notes for an unfinished apology for Christianity articulates a philosophical view on faith, human nature, the human condition, and our relation to God that is of great general interest to the philosophy of religion.
