Abstract

The optimal density for Raman amplification in a plasma of Te=200 eV was investigated from the perspective of breaking of the backscatter-driven Langmuir wave. Furthermore, the saturation of Raman amplification at this optimal density was examined. The resulting data were analyzed in detail.
