Abstract

The relationship between the nature of coherent quantum dynamics, the influence of field fluctuations, the degree of robustness and the attainment of optimality was investigated. The system evolution occurred free of any u uncontrolled environmental interactions. Results indicated a relationship between the system dynamics and the control field fluctuations, where the process of seeking optimal performance assured an inherent degree of system robustness to such fluctuations.
