Abstract

The Scalable Display Wall project is presented and the low cost optical blending technique developed to implement a seamless display with multiple tiled projectors is discussed. The method modulates the intensity of an overlapped screen region between adjacent projectors. The optical blending method consists of two parts: an optical edge blending mechanism and a camera based feedback approach to modulate the digital source to improve the edge blending results.
