On the fluorescent behavior of ketones at high temperatures

Abstract

Results are presented of the effect of elevated temperature and pressure on the laser-induced fluorescence of ketone molecules. The fluorescent yield of ketones was found to decrease with temperature but was unaffected by pressure for a 266 nm excitation and broadband collection.
