Abstract

Soft and sharp magneto-rotons in low-lying charge-density excitations in ferromagnetic electron bilayers at vT=1 were observed. The key features of the experiments were interpreted within time-dependent Hartree-Fock approximation. These results show that direct links between transitions in the electron quantum ground state and the low-lying dispersive collective modes.
