Abstract

The observation of complex noise spectra accompanying the breakdown of the reentrant integer quantized Hall states of two-dimensional electron systems (2DES) in high Landau levels was reported. Both narrow- and broad-band noise appeared in the current-volatge characteristics of these states, after breakdown under the stress of a large Hall electric field. It was concluded that these states were strongly dependent on the magnitude of applied dc current.
