Abstract

Novel design of three-color polymer light emitting devices was discussed for passive-matrix flat panel displays. The devices emitted blue, green and red colors with peak wavelengths at 436nm, 500 nm and 590 nm respectively. Patterning of organic polymer blends and local addition of dyes by masked dye diffusion was performed to achieve the polymer LEDs.
