Abstract

Novel ylide complexes of Zr(IV) were prepared by treatment of (η⁵-C₅H₅)₂Zr(alkyl)(hydride) complexes with methylenetrimethylphosphorane and subsequent reactions. Spectroscopic data for these complexes are discussed and several reactions of them are presented.
