Nonlinear self-filtering via dynamical stochastic resonance

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate nonlinear self-filtering and amplification of low-light-level images hidden in noise. The observed effect strongly depends on the nonlinear coupling strength and properties of the noise, indicative of a dynamical stochastic resonance.
