Noise-immune universal computation using Manakov soliton collision cycles

Abstract

We show that bistable collision cycles of Manakov solitons are capable of universal, all-optical computation with state restoration. NAND gates and FANOUT are realized by soliton collisions in a homogeneous nonlinear medium.
