Abstract
A description is given of a General Aviation Digital Avionics Flight Test Facility being jointly developed. This facility consists of the Princeton Avionics Research Aircraft (ARA) and NASA/Langley's Digital Avionics Research (DARE) system. The DARE/ARA system, the Wallops flight test facilities, and the initial research tasks in the GA Terminal Area Operation Program are described.
