abstract = "The microwave-modulated photoluminescence (MPL) spectra of modulation-doped GaAs/AlGaAs quantum wells (MDQW) and heterojunctions (HJ) are studied under a magnetic field B applied perpendicularly to the two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) layer. In addition to the optically detected electron and hole cyclotron resonances, new resonances appear at B-values that depend on the 2DEG density. The analysis of the MPL spectra reveals an important role of the interaction of the 2DEG and mw-heated photogenerated holes.",
