Micropatterned Directional Emitters for Passive Thermoregulation of Vertical Facades

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

A low-cost and highly scalable micropatterned directional emitter features angle selective and tailorable emittance across thermal wavelengths. By reducing summertime terrestrial radiative heat gain and wintertime loss, this design enables passive seasonal thermoregulation of buildings.
