Abstract
The transverse resistivity measurements in a reconnecting current sheet were performed. The transverse resistivity was found to be directly related to the reconnection rate in the collisional neutral sheet without a guide field. The analysis showed the agreement between the measured resistivity and the classical value derived by Spitzer.
