Abstract
We present a measurement of the unitarity triangle angle [Formula Presented] using a Dalitz plot analysis of the three-body decay of the neutral [Formula Presented] meson from the [Formula Presented] process. The method employs the interference between [Formula Presented] and [Formula Presented] to extract both the weak and strong phases. We apply this method to a [Formula Presented] data sample collected by the Belle experiment. The analysis uses the modes [Formula Presented] and [Formula Presented], [Formula Presented], where the neutral [Formula Presented] meson decays into [Formula Presented]. We obtain 146 signal candidates for [Formula Presented] and 39 candidates for [Formula Presented]. From a combined maximum likelihood fit to the [Formula Presented] and [Formula Presented] modes, we obtain [Formula Presented]. The corresponding 2 standard deviation interval is [Formula Presented].
