Abstract
This article introduces the concept of ‘technologies of intimate labour’, which refers to practices of intimate labour that forge identities, enable self-actualization, and allow self-growth. It describes the two underlying themes that bring together this special issue: aspirational politics of sex or sexual identity and the moral regimes of sexual labour.
