Abstract

ComSoc's new Industry and Standards Activities area is experimenting with many ways to activate and reinvigorate industry and practitioner engagement with ComSoc. The goal is a virtuous cycle of content creation leading to improving engagement. Significant progress has been made, building on our strong standards foundation and extending to several new IEEE initiatives, training and education, and participation in industry verticals. Please write to Rob Fish directly at rob dot fish at ieee dot org if you are interested in participating in any of these ISA initiatives or if you have any other ideas you think would be useful for us to pursue.
