In-plane radial fluid flow characterization of fibrous materials

Abstract

Several techniques for characterizing the structure of fibrous materials, such as fibreglass insulation, by means of fluid flow are presented. Two flow techniques for determining pore volume and pore throat distributions on compressed mats are also described.
