Abstract

In 1990 Vijayan and Poor proposed nonlinear predictive methods for suppressing narrowband interference signals in spread spectrum (SS) with significant increase in the SNR improvement. This paper describes a further enhancement of their nonlinear adaptive prediction algorithm, and introduces a nonlinear version of the interpolating filters proposed in previous studies.
