Highly scalable serial-parallel optical delay line

Abstract

We report a highly scalable ultra-fast tunable serial-parallel optical delay line. Experiments at aggregate rates of 30GHz and 90GHz demonstrate its operation. A theoretical analysis shows transition latency of the order of tens of nanoseconds.
