High sensitivity atomic magnetometers and their applications

Abstract

I will review recent progress in optical magnetometry techniques using spin-polarized alkali-metal atoms and discuss their applications for detection of nuclear magnetic resonance, biological magnetic fields, rotation sending, and fundamental physics tests.
